Ireland - West Coast

More photos from our walk around Galway... The Bline Arch 1584 (top right) had remnants of some of the carved stonework from the old fortifications behind the metal fence. Top left is a weir controlling the flow of water down the river and sits right beside the houses. Bottom left is the Galway Cathedral in the distance passed Salmon Weir Bridge. Bottom right is Finnegans Pub - 'enjoy fine Irish food in a medieval building'.
